We prefer fresh WHOLE FOODS to PROCESSED FOODS. Humans have lost the taste for honest-to-goodness natural food. We eat chemically processed stuff from grocery shelves that have sat there for who knows how long. Basically, they take out the natural nutrients so the product can sit on the shelves longer and try to make up for the lacking nutrients by fortifying it with synthetic nutrients and adding artificial chemicals. We are not fooled by food giants claiming to be concerned about our health and wellness.

We prefer NATURALLY-GROWN, PESTICIDE-FREE produce (also known as ORGANIC). The latest engineered food is called GMO or Genetically Modified Organism. Please stop experimenting with our food! We eagerly look forward to the time when organic is the rule rather than the exception.

You will notice that we rarely use the word ORGANIC to advertise our bath and body products. We fully support and promote organic products. We use organic ingredients in our own products whenever possible. However, as a matter of policy, we adhere to the strict definition of an ORGANIC PRODUCT, i.e. it has to be certified organic by an official recognized body and it has to be made up of certified organic ingredients. To get that kind of seal can be very expensive. That's why when you do see ORGANIC on our products, rest assured that it is truly and certifiably organic.

We prefer BREASTMILK to MILK FORMULA. There is no substitute breastmilk. Formula is processed in a factory that has CONTAMINATION written all over it. It comes from cow’s milk, which is DEAD milk because all the natural goodness has been killed in the process. Cow's milk is not even good for baby cows anymore these days because of the ANTIBIOTICS and BOVINE GROWTH HORMONES (BGH) that’s being pumped into their poor mothers. Mass consumption of dairy products is causing epidemic health problems.

We prefer GOOD NUTRITION to BEAUTY PRODUCTS. Beauty products that are free from harmful ingredients are nice, but a healthy diet is beyond skin-deep. And trust us, those products that contain questionable ingredients like parabens, phthalates, petrochemicals, hydroquinone, sodium lauryl sulfates, lead, and hundreds of others, will not keep you pretty later on.

We prefer foods with REAL HONEST-TO-GOODNESS SUGAR to SUGAR-FREE. They took away sugar, which is bad for you in excess, and replaced it with artificial sweeteners (ASPARTAME, ACESULFAME-K, SUCRALOSE, SACCHARIN and NEOTAME), which studies show have highly questionable long-term side effects. What’s nice about that? Anything that says "sugar-free" is laced with yucky unnatural sweeteners.

We prefer GLASS to PLASTIC. Almost everything is made of plastic or packaged in plastic nowadays. We agree that plastic is convenient and durable. But glass is so much prettier. Have you picked up a piece of glass from the beach that’s been polished by the waves and sand? Glass teaches us to be more careful and mindful of handling things. We like to reuse glass containers instead of plastic ones in the kitchen. It saves us from worrying about plastic carcinogens in our food. At Planet Noah, we are serious about using the least amount of plastic in our packaging. We don't like contributing to the world's plastic dump. Whenever you choose reusable or biodegradable packaging, you are helping save the environment.

We prefer NATURAL NON-TOXIC CLEANERS like baking soda, vinegar and and plain soap to HARSH CHEMICAL CLEANERS. You could really clean a lot with that combination. Try it! Commercial cleaners are like pesticides. They’re toxic to life and the planet. We skip the aisle for household cleaners while we’re at the grocery. Saves us a lot of time!
